BIOGRAPHY

東京を拠点に活動しているコンポーザー（作曲家）ピアニスト。クラシックやジャズの要素を取り入れ、ジャンルを超えた独特な世界観の曲が好評を得ている。2020年 International Songwriting Competition Instrumental部門にて、”Tsunagari”がSemi Fainalist受賞。国内での演奏活動のほか、ニューヨークのトップアーティスト達とのコラボや、南アジアで活躍しているファクラル・ラジ氏に編曲提供など、幅広く活動している。

幼少の頃からクラシックピアノを学び、東京学芸大学で教育学とともにピアノ演奏のほか合唱やオペラなど幅広く音楽を学ぶ。東京にてピアノ教室の経営に携わる。自然風景、情景などからインスピレーションを得て曲作りを行っている。

kanakoé is a project by composer & pianist Kanako Ode. She incorporates elements of classical and jazz music, and while focusing on the piano, she creates music with a unique worldview that transcends genres.

She takes inspiration from the beauty of natural landscapes, especially the sea, and expresses this beauty in her music.
